After moving to a house located at an intersection between two wetland areas and frequently seeing turtles struck by cars in her own neighborhood, founder Kelly Olson created Turtle Rescue Club to build a culture of turtle conservation and empower people to notice and reduce turtle road mortality through small, accessible actions in their everyday lives.

Turtle Rescue Club products are designed to spark conversation, raise awareness and support simple acts that make a difference for turtles and the ecosystems they’re part of.

Small acts make a big impact - whether that means slowing down, helping a turtle cross safely, or sharing what you’ve learned with someone else!

Since launching in April 2026, we’ve raised over $6,500 to support local conservation efforts in Minnesota, along with additional funds to print and distribute 2,000 free educational guides featuring low-barrier ways to help turtles.
